Connecting hidden supply with hidden demand

We built TPX
because we needed it.

The problem was never a lack of pallets. It was a lack of visibility. TPX exists to fix that, for the whole trade.

A haulier at the roadside at dusk

Running a pallet business, we kept coming across the same problem. We would look around the yard and see perfectly good pallets taking up valuable space because we didn't have a customer for them.

Then the phone would ring. A good customer needed a pallet we didn't have. So we would start ringing around the trade.

Five calls. Ten calls. WhatsApps. Emails. Sometimes we would find them. Sometimes we wouldn't.

What if the pallets we were looking for were sitting in somebody else's yard, while the pallets they were looking for were sitting in ours?

The stock usually existed. The demand usually existed. The connection didn't. That is why we built The Pallet Exchange.

Built by the pallet trade, for the pallet trade.

The industry problem

Every pallet business has the same two problems.

Stock you can't place

Surplus, unusual and slow-moving pallets sit in the yard tying up cash and space, because the buyer for them is not one of the firms you usually ring.

Stock you can't find

A customer needs pallets you do not have, so you spend hours chasing the trade, and sometimes still come up short and risk the customer.

The stock almost always exists somewhere in the trade. The only thing missing is a way to see it. TPX is that way, a verified national network where the two sides finally meet, anonymously and fairly.
